The Real Cheese Place History

The Real Cheese Place is a second generation retail business founded by Roger Schumacher in 1981.   We focus on specialty cheese products and distribute through our retail store and on the internet.

    Our founder Roger is a former Swiss cheese maker whose family helped bring cheese making to southern Wisconsin.

    He has been in the cheese specialty business for over 40 years and is now working with his daughter Mary, keeping cheese a family tradition. We hope you enjoy our specialty cheese site. Try some of our mouth watering cheese flavors today.
