Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin introduces multiple new Wisconsin Cheese retail merchandising tactics for in store and online activations at the Specialty Food Association’s Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, January 13-15. This comes after a standout year for Wisconsin Cheese following the rollout of the new Proudly Wisconsin Cheese™ logo, along with new marketing initiatives including branding, a new website and a new commercial.
The Wisconsin Cheese booth #2427 showcases ten dairy companies, including Crave Brothers, Farmhouse Kitchens, Hook’s Cheese, Nasonville Dairy, Old World Creamery, Pine River Pre-Pack, Renard’s Cheese, Shullsburg Creamery, V & V Supremo and Wisconsin Aging and Grading. Every company has a private sampling space within the larger Wisconsin Cheese booth.
James Beard award-winning cheese expert, Laura Werlin, will present Wisconsin cheese tastings and coffee, gin, and cider pairings in the booth on Sunday, January 13, and Monday, January 14, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Attendees can also see a portion of the World’s Largest Cheeseboard, which broke the Guinness World Record last August. This record-breaking achievement in Wisconsin made headlines around the world with features in Food & Wine, FOX News, Thrillest and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
"When consumers look for the best cheese in the nation, they seek out the Proudly Wisconsin Cheese badge," said Suzanne Fanning, Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Wisconsin Cheese. "We are thrilled to share our new brand elements and showcase the cheese and dairy companies that are committed to perfection and innovation. Their commitment is the reason Wisconsin consistently wins more awards than any other state or country."
