Exhibiting Wisconsin Cheese Companies Introduce New Products to Meet Consumer Trends and Demands

Madison, Wis. (June 20, 2019) – Cheese is one of the year's hottest food trends according to Eater, and nobody does cheese like Wisconsin, The State of Cheese®. Wisconsin Cheese Booth #1048, winner of the Fancy Food Booth Contest in January, returns this weekend to feature the cheeseboard that broke a Guinness World Record last summer.

Meet the pioneers, explorers and dreamers from ten Wisconsin dairy companies including Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese, Farmhouse Kitchens, Hook's Cheese, Nasonville Dairy, Old World Creamery, Pine River Pre-Pack, Prairie Farms, Renard's Cheese, The Artisan Cheese Exchange and Wisconsin Aging and Grading.

Learn why Wisconsin is the world's most awarded cheese from Elena Santogade, a New-York based Certified Cheese Professional with Wisconsin roots, who will guide show attendees through interactive cheese tasting experiences at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 23 and Monday, June 24. Santogade's expert experience will showcase how sight, smell and taste are three distinct ways to assess cheese.

"Wisconsin Cheese is perfect for people who are looking for fresh, local and natural foods," said Suzanne Fanning, Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Wisconsin Cheese. "We encourage them to look for the Proudly Wisconsin Cheese™ badge on packaging nationwide and learn the stories of Wisconsin's Master Cheesemakers, which we proudly celebrate this year with the 25th anniversary of this unique program. The program along with the talented, innovative cheesemakers across our state are committed to perfection – which is one of the reasons that Wisconsin consistently wins so many awards."

Cheese lovers can see a portion of the World's Largest Cheeseboard, which broke the Guinness World Record in August 2018. The Wisconsin Cheese team claimed this record-breaking achievement in Wisconsin and made headlines around the world with features in Food & Wine, FOX News, Thrillest and Late Night with Seth Meyers. The same team won a Gold REGGIE Award from the Association for National Advertisers last month.

Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin staff will be at the show to meet with buyers and distributors. Based regionally across the country, they are focused on supporting retailer efforts to drive sales through multi-channel programming and materials. With Wisconsin cheese, you get high-quality, award-winning products and the support to match.
