Madison, Wis. – Customize your own award-winning cheese plate in the all new Proudly Wisconsin Cheese® Shop (#2362) this weekend at the Specialty Food Association’s Winter Fancy Food Show in Las Vegas.

Throughout the show, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of specialty cheeses, from national and international award winners to Wisconsin Originals and cheeses made by Master Cheesemakers from Wisconsin, the State of Cheese®. And, just in time for Valentine’s Day, attendees who stop by the cheese shop can enter to win an exclusive heart-shaped box of Wisconsin’s most lovable cheeses.
“In Wisconsin, we’re obsessed with making the world’s best cheese, and it’s truly core to who we are,” says Suzanne Fanning, Chief Marketing Officer for Wisconsin Cheese and Senior Vice President at Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin. “We've been making cheese in Wisconsin since before we were even a state, which is one of the many reasons we win more awards than any other state or country.”
Featured within the Proudly Wisconsin Cheese® Shop are seven dairy companies, including Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese, Door Artisan Cheese Company, Kingston Creamery, Nasonville Dairy, Pine River Pre-Pack, Renard’s Cheese, and Specialty Cheese Company.
Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin Regional Marketing Managers will be at the show to meet with buyers and distributors. Based regionally across the country, they are focused on supporting retailer efforts to drive sales through multi-channel programming and materials. Wisconsin specialty cheese is outpacing the entire category and can be found in 99% of grocery stores nation-wide.
