Janet Clark Re-Elected as Board Chair and Appointed to United Dairy Industry Association
MADISON, Wis. - The Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin (DFW) board of directors unanimously reelects Janet Clark as Board Chair at its annual election meeting. Clark is a second-generation dairy farmer from Rosendale representing District 16 (Fond du Lac, Green Lake and Marquette counties). She, along with the elected Executive Committee, will lead the organization through the next fiscal year, which began July 1 and will conclude June 30, 2024.
“I’m honored to continue serving the state’s dairy farmers as board chair,” said Clark, Board Chair, DFW Board of Directors. “This year, I’m excited also to represent Wisconsin within the United Dairy Industry Association and join other dairy state representatives in the national mission to increase demand for dairy.”
DFW Board Chair, Clark, was appointed as DFW’s United Dairy Industry Association (UDIA) Board of Directors Seat. DFW board members elected to serve on the Executive Committee with Clark include Gail Klinkner, (Viroqua, District 21) as Vice-Chair; Sandy Madland (Lyndon Station, District 15) as Secretary; and Mark Crave, (Watertown, District 19) as Treasurer. The board welcomes two new directors Andrew Christenson (Amery, District 4) and Kristen Metcalf, (Milton, District 25).
The DFW Board of Directors is comprised of 25 dairy farmers who are elected by their peers for three-year terms.
