Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.

  3. Starting with a short side, tightly roll up dough. Brush remaining edge of dough with water; press and pinch seam to seal. Wrap in plastic wrap. Freeze for 15 minutes. Repeat steps with remaining puff pastry.
  4. Cut each roll widthwise into 1/2-inch slices. Place 3 inches apart on parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Cheesemonger Tip

Do you have questions when shopping for cheese? Ask the cheesemonger! A cheesemonger specializes in the buying and selling of high-quality cheese, usually available in the specialty section of a grocery store or cheese shop. Knowledgeable and passionate, a cheesemonger is a go-to resource for cheese varieties and pairings, proper cheese storage and handling, its cooking applications and cheese brand information.

Wisconsin cheesemakers produce nearly 1 billion pounds of mozzarella cheese each year. Mozzarella rates second only to cheddar in popularity within the U.S.
