Similar to quark or farmers cheese, tvarog originated in Poland where it is also known as white cheese or curd cheese. This soft, white cheese can be mixed with spices and vegetables for a simple breakfast, or incorporated into a variety of traditional recipes, including pierogi, dumplings, and cheesecake.
